In the shimmering haze of the night's embrace,
Where dreams weave tales of time and space,
I found myself in a city of old,
A place of prophets, stories untold.
Through the mists of sleep, I wandered free,
In the city of the blessed, by the sacred tree.
A whisper of ancient winds caressed my soul,
Guiding me to where the prophets strolled.
Majestic minarets reached for the sky,
Echoing calls to prayer, soaring high.
Streets lined with gold, paved with light,
In this celestial city, all was pure and right.
I walked through markets of fragrant spice,
Where merchants bartered, their voices nice.
The aroma of musk and ambergris hung in the air,
A symphony of scents, beyond compare.
In the heart of the city, a radiant glow,
Where the beloved Prophet's teachings flow.
His mosque stood tall, a beacon of peace,
A sanctuary where all worries cease.
With reverence, I approached the sacred door,
Humbled by the presence I felt evermore.
Inside, the air was filled with serenity,
As if the walls whispered secrets of eternity.
In the courtyard, under the starry sky,
I saw him, the Prophet, with a gentle sigh.
His countenance radiant, his presence divine,
Guiding souls with love, like a sacred shrine.
I approached with trembling awe,
Overwhelmed by the sight I saw.
He smiled, a warmth that reached my soul,
In his presence, I felt truly whole.
He spoke not with words, but with light,
Filling my heart with pure insight.
His gaze pierced through the depths of my being,
In his presence, all doubts were fleeing.
He gestured for me to sit by his side,
And in that moment, all worries died.
We spoke of faith, of love, of grace,
As the moonlight bathed his holy face.
Time seemed to stand still in that divine place,
As we conversed about life's endless chase.
He imparted wisdom that transcends the ages,
In his words, written on eternity's pages.
But then, like the dawn breaking through the night,
I felt the pull of reality, dimming the light.
With a heavy heart, I bid farewell,
To the city of prophets, where dreams dwell.
Yet the lessons learned in that sacred land,
Embedded deep within, like grains of sand.
For in my heart, I carry the light,
Of the city of prophets, shining bright.
Though I awaken to the world's mundane,
In my soul, the echoes of that dream remain.
A reminder of the love that never dies,
In the city of prophets, where paradise lies.
